Why am I getting the worst experience ever at this Home Depot? Even managers aren’t thorough and willing to help. Ordered appliances near 3k, order delivered late and delivery people just dropped my dryers off w/o installing it and ran off. I have checked with staff of Home Depot and delivery few days earlier if I have everything for my dryers install. Received a dishwasher on 4/4, and it died shortly thereafter. Two weeks later after numerous calls and service visits it’s still broken and Home Depot management is not concerned nor are they returning my calls.
Went to the Ashburn location for a lot of items for our first home. Let me say, this wasn't my first rodeo in a home improvement store. Went there on a Wednesday evening and we were so impressed with how nice and helpful everybody was. From the people working in the paint department, outdoor equipment, electrical and customer service desk, this was by far the best experience we have ever had at a home improvement store. Standing here as as I'm writing this waiting to get a pipe cut and threaded. Been here about an hour. Already screwed up 1 pipe, trying a second. I have a feeling I'll be leaving empty handed, having wasted a good portion of my work day. It should also be noted that the 4 other "associates" playing with a singing/dancing Halloween doll in the next aisle over were also, of no help. I did in fact leave without what I needed
Somehow, every time we come here, we end up getting zero helpful input. Employees we do find are friendly (if unknowlegeable), but it's a challenge to find anyone in the first place. As a former Lowe's employee, I know what customer service should look like. Unfortunately, to this point, there hasn't been a Lowe's close enough. Thankfully one is opening down the road. Maybe that will encourage this store to do better.
I ordered and had a dishwasher installed in my home in December. There was damage to my cabinets from water during the install. I was told to get an estimate and send it to the rep from FSA Logistics. I have an estimate and have been trying to get ahold of the rep for 4 months so I can have a contractor fix the damage from the install.
