I had a sump pump go bad that was still under warranty and they would not honor the warrantee due to manufacturer updated the attached float switch and changed the up number. It happened on a weekend when the manufacturer customer service was closed. offered me $50 off on a new one. List price $200. This happened at the Hill Rd store. Manager was not very customer focused. Gary Marsh.

Only problem I ever have is it's like a candy store to me & I always spend more than I planned lol

Worst customer service I ever received when dealing with a damaged appliance (twice) was told that once I payed for appliance Home Depot was no longer liable for what happens with appliance
I tend to know what I am looking for which is great, lately not near as many helpful associates. I find it odd actually as I understand they hired a bunch of people.
Hard to find help. These two older guys walked past me as I was trying to get a patio table from the shelf. He said ‘ya doing alright?’ Gave me a 👍🏼 as I went to ask for him to help and kept walking. The gentleman that did help was pretty awesome though. Asked for help taking it out to my car. The guy walked with me and I loaded it. To sum it up? Bring someone with you even if you don’t plan on buying something heavy. There’s probably going to be something on sale that you can’t pass up.
