Customer service (and other) employees are not wearing face masks. We are social distancing, wearing masks, etc. We are seniors and at higher risk for serious complications from covid-19. When we can we order online and pickup to minimize contact with asymptomatic persons. At a minimum, associates at CUSTOMER SERVICE and at the PRO DESK where orders are picked up SHOULD BE WEARING MASKS!
I went to this Home Depot on Sunday and was appalled. There was nothing to use for cleaning the carts and then when checking out, it is all self checkout and use have to use the hand held scanners. I refused. Since they showed such a total disregard for the health of their customers, I will never shop there again.
I can tools & yard equipment
This is my local Home Depot store. I ordered a tree bag on line and went to pick it up. A picture ID was required. No problem. My husband has ordered and picked up more expensive items, no picture require at multiple Home Depot locations. He never shows an ID. The difference? He is white and I am black. All customers should be treated with the same service at all locations.
Had issues at checkout and your front line manager Sheila refused to help. She was to busy cutting it up with the other cashier and told me I’d have to wait until the kid on the 4 registers I was on was free. Then she had the audacity to get in my FACE to explain to me that she is a manager! I told her to get out of my face and she went off on a tangent. Sheila has no business working in customer service let alone being a manager. I won’t be back. This isn’t the first time I’ve received crap customer service
Thoughts, I paid $35.00 for a door measurement by Home Depot for one of our rentals. Home Depot called and said they have my measurements when would I like to come in and pick out my new doors to get them installed. I asked if they can email me a copy of the measurements she responded "No". I asked why she said policy because then you can go somewhere else to buy your doors.
