We rented a piece of equipment from Home Depot, rental process was easy and smooth, Employee at the store was very nice and hooked up the equipment and trailer to my husbands truck. With my husband putting the safety chains on and nothing else. He headed out and all was well and good. Fast forward to returning the equipment and the trailer disconnected from the truck, mind you, a Home Depot associate hooked the trailer to the truck. went to the home depot in idaho. 7am this morning. many employees. few customers. walked by 4 employees in all. not a single one offered any help. left the store in frustration. just placed $10,000 order for materials with Lowes.
Ordered a washer and dryer online. Delivery day came and we waited all day long only to find out through an email that they canceled the delivery due to “being unable to deliver“ due to no one at home, however we were home waiting ALL DAY LONG!!! I cancelled my order and will no longer spend my money at Home Depot.
Purchased a Kitchen Aid refrigerator November 2019. It stopped functioning while we were out of town.. Everything in it was spoiled and rotten and stinky. We returned home on May 4. After the royal runaround the bottom line is we still have no refrigerator. We will NEVER spend another Penny in the Home Depot.I forgot to mention that we purchased the extended warranty!
I would go to Home Depot for all my needs and they have just gone down hill. No one would help me, I can’t find anyone to help me, online ordering is the worst, and now a limit for the veterans discount. If you need anything. Go toLowes
The Home Depot online business putting bogus delivery date to get people buying from them, after that they will use excuses such as traffic, truck broke down, no one home (even the customer have security camera to show that they never there), basically all kind of excuse to miss the delivery date then reschedule it to a much longer delivery date with the excuse that is the only date they are available to deliver. RecommendedWonderful staff, wide variety of product and item I need is ALWAYS in stock! Overall company’s dedication to Veterans is amazing. Recognition, employment, discounts, etc.. much appreciated. Only issue is the Veteran parking space….Other HD’s I visit have beautiful Veteran Parking signs with. Flag painted on them. Went to my local Home Depot in Sherman TX, yesterday - the Garden Center was a disaster! Two thirds of the outdoor plants were dead! There were 3 people in orange aprons just standing around, talking and laughing. I told them about all the dead plants, and one of them said, "We water twice a day!" It was 7pm.
