If you don’t want covid don’t go to this Home Depot. I went to this Home Depot twice in the past two days. Yesterday I witnessed many employees either with their mask below their chin or not covering their nose. Today I counted 5 employees in the ten minutes I was in there. The girl working the paint section was taking off her mask to talk to customers. I have been remodeling my house for a year and have been using this location for most of my purchases. But my last 2 experiences have been frustrating and not very pleasant. Their staff truly doesn't know how to properly handle their customers, management are rude and inconsistent and their customer service really have no clue on how they handle questions and complaints. Their corporate office should come in and do a complete retraining with EVERYONE!!!!!
During the COVID-19 pandemic this store (Southington Home Depot) in particular has consistently shown their disregard for following safety measures. Many staff members who are not maintaining a 6ft distance from eachother or customers are not wearing masks and according to them aren’t required to. Nor are they wearing gloves when stocking shelves or retrieving items for customers. I went to the Home Depot on 1816 Meriden WTRBY Tpke today btw 345-415 and asked a sales associate if they carried a specific item. Instead of politely saying no they did not have it the sales associate laughed in my face asking if I was kidding. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
Placed an order with gift cards was told problem with payment which there wasn’t they took funds off gift cards! After 5 days not being able to contact anyone i canceled the order. They put funds back on one card not the other was told could take 48 hours it’s now been 7 days with no return call or text or email. I understand stores are busier now, but 7 days is a lot and should at least refund my gift card!!!!!
