We are on our second carpet install from Home Depot. First job was a single room, pretty easy install. We had a few issues with the install/installers i.e. scratched our walls laying the carpet and we had to paint, installers couldn't understand us due to a communication barrier, and even though requested did not wear shoe covers and walked on our brand new carpet in their work boots. RecommendedEvery time I’m in there, I get treated like a human being with dignity. They typically have what I need at a reasonable price. I’m usually in and out and back to work in no time. I never consider going to any other home improvement store.

Ordered a refrigerator in November and it was missing screws for the freezer handle that took two weeks to receive. Purchased an expensive stove that we paid $1,300 for and it was damaged. There is a large dent on the bottom. We were offered $100 damage allowance. This is upsetting to say the least. Our next big purchase will be a dishwasher and we will be purchasing from Lowe’s. Home Depot has lost our business.
I will stop doing business with Home Depot period. They had a bunch of hayseeds install a $6000.00 front door and it has been redone and still not right and now no one will call me back to get it fixed. See you in court!
HD kitchen "designer" ordered wrong side cabinets and will not accept responsibility. Delayed my project by 4 weeks. Not the first time HD as a company has messed up cabinets. Refuse to compensate me time, aggravation, and increased expenses associated with not having a working kitchen. Never again. Strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your remodeling project. While they are cheaper, it will ultimately cost you more in the long run!
