We really liked Home Depot and have shopped there for years. A few years ago, Home Depot started to give 10% discounts to veterans. Needless to say, if it was something that we could purchase at Home Depot, we did! A few weeks ago, we were told that Home Depot no longer gave discounts to Veterans. (My spouse was not a retired Vet, but has the Lancaster County Veterans card to verify his service). My visit on Saturday morning was one of the best in years to any home improvement store. Found everything i was looking for right away with the help of a young man named Jim Homedepot employee. Not bad for Black Friday � lol. I️ just changed the rating because i returned to Homedepot today to return Christmas decorations $19.98. I misplaced my receipt and after only a couple of days the product was already marked down to $5.00. How much is Homedepot over charging for Christmas items. I told them i would take store credit
Though we had to come back a few times because things were not right, everyone was so helpful and was very pleased with the Service !

I asked somebody for help in the hardware department and they said they would get somebody. I waited there for 20 minutes before asking someone else, only to find out the person from the hardware department called off. Unacceptable.
I used to play a reverse version of the Disney Store game at home depot. Instead of trying to get to the back and out without being greeted I would see if I could chase a The Home Depot employee all the way to the back and another to the front. Thank christ I was just trying to get help finding something rather than in actual danger. I had no idea that they were at risk of losing their jobs for acknowledging my existence. Sam Dixon and I will not being doing business with The Home Depot again. I ordered a new kitchen range through them earlier this week. After not receiving a delivery call, I called the Lancaster store. My ordered had been cancelled and no one knew why. After being on the phone with three different people and 45 minutes later, a "glitch in the system" caused the cancellation. The money cleared my account. They said it should be back, but I have no range. Poor customer service! Working in IT ourselves, we know stuff like this ... read more
