Home Depot This is the place to go if you need to build something or fix something. They have everything you need. Help is always just around a corner. I like this store and I could spend hours here. PROS: good selection, helpful CONS: no probs
Home Depot is hit and miss, still worth going They seem to have a lot of business here- they frequently sell out of special sale items before I get there. I have driven over to another location after that and they usually will have the sale items. Customer service inside the store can be inconsistent. I went there one morning when they were slow and I had 7 people ask if they could help me in less than 5 minutes (annoying) and other times I have had trouble finding people to help me. Ok Home Supply Store Home Depot is an ok Home supply store. They are similar to Lowes Home Improvement. They do not carry a huge assortment of items like Lowes but they usually have what you are looking for. The isles are very wide and items are spread out. For Customer Service, you usually have to go looking for someone and probley never find them unless you stand in one of the main isles and just looked extremely confused. We are so grateful for Carlos in plumbing at Home Depot who spent a lot of time with us (twice) making sure we had the right replacement valve and tool to remove the old valve. We would never have gotten the old valve out without the tool because it had started falling apart and the rubber was folding back. Carlos needs a bonus or a raise!
Do NOT use their install services! We spent over $5k having Pergo installed. After the quarter round for the laminate started to have the facing peel, sending out inspectors who took pictures and found NO moisture issues, they REFUSED to make the repair. Their solution was to give us the molding and install ourselves.... after we PAID to have it installed! Will never use them again! Poor customer service and over 2 months of contacting them to even get their “resolution”

The worst kitchen remodel experience ever!! Expensive job that took months to complete, constant problems & excuses. (Wrong cabinets ordered, missing cabinets, missing hardware, wrong Home Depot claims is contractor's fault (the contractor the store uses), the contractor blames the designer & the store. No one taking responsibility. Meanwhile young mother had to wash dishes in the bathroom & had no kitchen to cook in for months. Numerous complaints to store manager & assist manager where futile.
