I have a friend who bought a dehumidifier a while ago at the McHenry Home Depot; she has back problems and walks with a cane!! She asked a young man if she could have help getting it in her car and that person said, “Of Course” and followed her out with the item!! She chatted with him on the way and found out he has grandparents in McHenry!! She didn’t know him - but she and I were schoolmates and are still good friends!! This is the most disorganized HD branch I have ever dealt with. The people that they use to deliver appliances sucks. Lack of communication among the staff and outside company. Some of the staff are very unprofessional. I will never come back here.
In the past 6 weeks, I purchased over $12,000 worth of flooring & appliances. Everything but 1 item was completely messed up. after MANY check-ins to ensure things would run smooth, I ended up cancelling all of my orders. Sadly, when I was encouraged (not once but MANY times) all would be a fluid transition, my son, recently home from active military now sits in a house w/ unfinished flooring & no appliances because Home Depot failed to deliver. HIRE PEOPLE!! always a f'ing ghost town in every department when you need something.
A huge help in finding a Christmas tree for us, and apparently I lost my wallet that night. They must do a great sweep of the place after because they had it and I know I left it in the lot! Thank you guys so much!

Love this place! My 2nd home.. Everyone is Super Helpful and commited to quality for customers! Especially the Manager.. Geri! Great advice and helpful in guidance to new homeowners taking on new projects...
