I too just discovered that Home Depot does not have any policy regarding the very under counter lighting system they recommended as well as put their own brand on (Hampton Bay). I have only 7 of these installed and now only 6 working. I will now drive a bit farther for my home repair needs, to Lowe's.
I installed the hampton bay under counter lighting system using the fluorescent lights SKU 914 152 2 years ago. In total I used 15 of these lights. I have replaced most of them over the last couple of years but that is not a problem. Today I was told that these lights are no longer going to be offered when i tried to buy two of these lights. Am I to just dump the lighting system that i installed? When half the lights burn out do I have to throw away the good ones since there won't be enough light? What happens to my $300 dol... read more
