Probably not the place for appliances. When there today ready to buy a washer & dryer. Wanted to discuss appliance options. Waited 10 min for someone. No one in the department, finally someone happened by, they agreed to find someone. 10 min later, someone appeared. If that person knew about appliances, they kept it carefully concealed. Didn’t feign slightest interest. But had that important quality so important in remaining brick & mortar establishments. A pulse. I think. Where does one go to find knowledge, caring people?
Was just at Leavenworth KS location - 5/24/2020. State is not fully open yet. COVID19 is still a very real, and growing threat in Leavenworth County. I saw only 1 employee wearing a mask. 3 employees came closer than 6 feet, while not wearing a mask. Self check out was not sanitized after last customer before us and employee made no move to clean our, or other stations while we were checking out. This is the absolute highest form of discourtesy in these times. Extremely rude and negligent.
RecommendedThey have nearly everything I need, when I need it! One thing though: WHY are people going to the Service Desk to purchase items? That is what the self checkout is for! I counted 11 people with bags of wood chips, and a man buying a drill. That section is for RETURNS idiots!
Went to Home Depot and several areas of this Kansas City today .I was in the one in Leavenworth with multiple items in my cart ,force to go through self service because all check out was close .there was five people from Home Depot standing there yakking at the self-service registers..with no registers open except at each end of the store To check you out. I went in for help today and was talked to like I was a complete idiot. Two different floor personal talked down to me so bad that I will never step foot in this location again. Even the checkout person wasn’t helpful. She was too busy on her phone!!!😡 😡
