My granddaughter went to home depot behind the mall Sunday. We got 12 bags of gravel, which we had to get outselves. When we checked out, we asked for help. The cashier in the garden said he would get us help, but did not. We asked a second time, and nothing. Finally, my granddaughter brought the truck closer and began loading while two employees stood talking. A customer came over and helped us. I won’t be back. By the way, I called Sunday and Monday to get a manager, never did
The "same day pick up" is an absolute joke. I am totally understanding with the pandemic that stores are spread thin. However, when everything you advertise says "Items can be ready within a few hours. Due to the high volume of orders being processed, pickup times may be delayed in some cases," and "Orders placed within two hours of store closing may not be available until the following day," a shopper would be led to believe that their online order would be ready within 1-2 days. By hiring people that know how to and are capable of doing the job they are assigned to do. It is absurd to not be able to fill internet orders in less than 8-20+ hours. Spoke to a person that waited two days for a soaker hose. This speaks of complete and gross incompetence at all levels from the front line workers all the way up through the store manager. 1 Star the new hours due to the pandemic are 6-6. And 5:45 pm the door we’re locked and they were not letting any one in. The manager was very rude said he isn’t going to open the store back up for any way and was told to leave. I expect more from this store
everything is great. compliments to the staff at homedepot. for sanitizing our baskets......... also can we have customers not smoke while waiting their turn to go in store
They use to be helpful, but the so-called manager led me on a wild goose chase and I didn’t appreciate it. They’re getting as bad as Lowe’s for customer service. Use to be, they would fall over themselves trying to help me and now I’m getting old—they act like they don’t see me struggling to lift things into my cart and/or into my truck.
