I bought my first and probably last appliance at Home Depot. I purchased a glass top stove. I gave the guy my measurements and he told me which one would fit. When it was delivered the guys told me they couldn’t install it because it was hardwired. I had to hire an electrician and when the electrician came he went to put it in and it didn’t fit. I tried to take it back and they wouldn’t let me return it. They said I Had to call the manufacturer. Now I am stuck with no stove and a brand new one that doesn’t fit. That is not r... read more

So I have a "paltry" $1,500 home project and purchased all supplies and hardware from Home depot. I had them cut 2 sheets of plywood ($26 each) and they miss-cut by 10 inches. I called to inquire about replacing them and they said the only thing they could do was for me to come buy 2 more and they will cut them correctly this time. I explained that that doesn't rectify the 2 sheets I already paid for and they said "I'm sorry but that's all we can do!" No refund! Great customer service! (Sarcasm). If you want good prices on building materials then go to Lumber One. They are 40-50% cheaper everyday than Home Depot. Sheetrock 1/2" is $7.55 at Lumber One. Try over $11 at Home Depot. They won't price match either. Mike Ruthelford needs to learn about customer service and keeping customers coming back rather than running them off to the competition. Lumber One delivers to all of west Little Rock Home Depot's area. Don't get ripped off by lack of a competitive attitude. #keepemhonest
