Paid $3,300 for new laminate floors. Paid for labor and materials. They call me 4 days later and said it can’t be done due to slope in the floor. Can’t do refund over the phone. Have to drive the 25 minutes to get my money back. Home Depot has been nothing but a headache. Thanks for the special treatment Home Depot

We purchased a quartz countertop about a month ago. We are very unsatisfied with the results. First, the seam was placed in a working area and is crowned where things catch on it. Second, there is a different coloring between the two sides of the seam. One side polished the other side brushed. We had a contractor come out and he said it seems as tho we were given a remnant. I'm also done with Home Depot. Customer service was a joke, even texts and online chats. When I cancelled my order with them after they messed up the install, they said they were glad Lowe's could help me out. Not even an apology for screwing up the install. After shopping there loyally ever since I bought my home in 2006, I guess Lowe's can help me out from now on. They are, after all, only located across the street. Remodeled kitchen. Experienced problems. Countertop cut over dishwasher, countertop was pulled up and replaced. Backsplash was installed and there were numerous cracks, why didn't they just get more and put up good pieces. Kraftmaid cabinets installed, many color not matching. Some exchanged, but still not good.
Getting keys made should not take this long. They replaced the staff with some machine and now you stand there looking stupid while you wait for staff to have the time to come and assist you. What sense does that make Home Depot? I do like Home Depot but did not appreciate standing there that long waiting for assistance.
