The customer service here is lacking greatly. I rented a tool for one day. I rented it in the evening before a snowstorm and I didn’t try to use it until I needed it the next day. There was a converter cord missing that they did not give me so I was unable to use the equipment. When calling, I spoke to assistant manager Aaron who rudely told me I had to pay for another day because it was my fault I didn’t notice the mistake sooner. I was at this store today. They had an area and 3 signs that said 75% off all holiday decor. There were 3 rope lights marked $29.99. I looked on line and the original price was $39.99. 75% off would be $9.99 each. I talked to the store manager and he said the best he could do was 3 for $60. I said that was not 75% off but 50% off. I called corporate and they called the store and were told the same thing. Why put up signs if you don’t honor them. It appears the store manager has the final say.
I got a gift card to shop there. I returned the locks that the sales person sold me. It was the wrong ones !!! I had my receipt. They asked 4 my driver license. I was pissed about that. I understand it has to go on a store credit. Really I had the receipt. Then today I went in there to buy some more supplies. I used the in store credit again. They asked 4 my license again. Why is it. I have my Receipt. Once my gift card and in store credit is used up. I will NOT GO IN THAT STORE AGAIN..
I normally shop this location with great service everytime but this morning I called to inquire about renting a wood chipper and was told it is not available. I asked if any other location would have one and was told there are only two locations with rental equipment and neither one has a wood chipper. Very friendly, helpful staff. My five year old and I were impressed with the kids workshop.
My go to place for lots of stuff. I go there for wood and all my hardware needs.
