allow your cashiers to actually ring people up and don't force people to use the self checkouts....you had 3 cashiers standing behind registers and we were told the weren't allowed to ring anyone up that only the self check out was open. and the woman running it looked like she was struggling to figure out how to do anything....sad situation when a company wants to pay people to stand around with their hands in their pockets...
Get employees who want to do their jobs. Every time I go in the store and get ready to check out no registers are open.
Read the fine print & deals closely. Do not assume that the associates know all the details. Also bring your print outs & quotes given in store with you when you are ready to purchase. Our Black Friday deal went awry, but the pragmatic manager honored the quote we were given. Kudos to Home Depot!
I attended their DIH(Do It Herself) workshop where they instruct women on how to tackle simple DIY task around the house. Sloan assisted me in making this September project which is a Tabletop S'Mores Station. The host these workshops every Third Thursday so join us for the next one in October. Very poor customer service, even after going physically to the store and speaking to 2 different managers. Waiting over 2 months for a stove which they finally attempted to deliver 2 days ago.. TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. They admitted their error, but have yet to correct it, and I am still without a stove/oven. Their deliveries are done through a third party and everything is such an ordeal to arrange. I have been promised a remedy and was to be called by the end of the day yesterday with their answer.. The salesman in the Electric section REFUSED to sell us the wire we wanted and persisted to tell my husband that oh thats NOT gonna work and went on and on about it. He needs to go. My husband has done electric most of his life and knows what he is doing. We dont need this old bag telling us how to do something. We will NEVER go to that Home Depot in Aiken S.C. again. We were highly pissed and went to Lowes instead so yall lost out on a $500 sale....oh well YOU NEVER REFUSE TO SELL A CUSTOMER SOMETHING LIKE THAT iTS NOT HOME... read more
