A favorite among locals, this happy joint is located at the corner of the Midtown 8 AMC Theatre building in the Midtown Promenade. The front room features the main bar and opens onto the large patio, where patrons enjoy the fine Atlanta weather with their pints. Around back, you'll find pool tables, pin ball as well as a few video games. Regular features include turkey dinners, shepherd's pie and country-fried steak, among other regional favorites.

I've been going to Highlander on a regular basis for more than ten years. Best bar food in the city. Wait staff is fantastic, they remember my name and my drink order. I would recommend a trip there to anyone.

A really great laid back working man's bar feel. They haven't got the beer or whisk(e)y I would normally drink, but that's just because I'm a pretentious asshole. The music isn't so loud that you can't hear anyone else talk and the staff is genuinely attentive and friendly.
Such a cool atmosphere and I had a transcendent experience with the food. One of the best burgers I've had in my life. Service was excellent and the art on the walls for sale was pretty bitchin' too.
The only way it could be better is if they had food delivery.

The Food was some of The Best I have ever had in a Bar,and The Waiter were Awesome. I would really recommend trying this place when you are in Atlanta GA. Love it !
