The front room features the main bar and opens onto the large patio, where patrons enjoy the fine Atlanta weather with their pints. Used to go there sometimes...but haven't been in awhile,am outta town alot.a friend of mine told me about the art show so I came out to hangout with him,have some drinks and play pool etc.was in the back bar where pool tables are and a baby mouse ran past our feet....later on I saw one laying in middle of the floor,told employee there's a dead rat on the floor and dude gets smart "that's not a rat it's a mouse"....I was like really dude,does it make a difference?I don't get to hangout that much so I didn't wanna let some sma... read more

It could be a great place. But based solely on the attitude of the staff who handle booking entertainment, I will never go to this venue. Ever.
DOESN'T PAY THE BAND FOR ITS SERVICES. DO NOT GO HERE
Laid back, no frills bar. If you’re looking for fancy, this ain’t it. This is a neighborhood lay-mans bar with good pub food, decent drafts, and experienced staff. Bless the Highlander for being open on most holidays for those of us that are single and alone.
