I've been living here since September. Love the atmosphere, all ammenities are brand new, beautiful lobby and pool, and a very friendly staff. We have two young children and I really like that there are many other families that live here. They also hold fun events for the residents each month, and it's a great way to meet our neighbors.
We moved here after Hurricane Harvey and the apartments are well appointed and the communal areas are maintained very well. The floors are mostly laminate in the main living areas, and so the noise from the upstairs apartments is a bit loud in those areas. The bedrooms are carpeted and cozy. Overall the high ceilings and neutral color scheme is really pleasant.
Although we were not planning on apartment living, like so many others here, Harvey changed that for us. We were promised an apartment at another complex, but then they went back on their word. We literally were driving by the Highbank and stopped in. What we didn't expect was a super crowded lobby with so many people in the same position. Were there glitches? Of course, some, but the way the staff dealt with hundreds of people trying to get an apartment all at once was incredible. They have gone above and beyond.
