Never again. First walked in and it smelled like bleach and was hot n muggy. They were out of several ingredients and the food that I ordered was not worth eating. Overcooked and mediocre.
We have been eating there for 20 plus years but we now live in Texas. It's out Families Favorite Breakfast place we always stop in when we are in town.
My family has been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. They are a little understaffed now, especially in the evening. Very good smoked meat and burgers, the ribs are OK. Their pies are not as good as Marie Callendar's IMO, but the portions are big and you get your monies worth.
Our server was HYSTERICAL! Just sayin'. The food was good, done quickly, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Perfect for a tired family at the end of a long day.
The service is always friendly and welcoming. ...and the food's good too :-)
I just saw a rat run across the floor! Management never came over to apologize! First and last time I come here. �
Our goto place when we're craving some meat or a salad.. It's all good! Now that they have Come it's even better! I was even a Breakfast line cook there back when they opened 100 years ago. Ha! One of the better French Dips around and consistently good.
