So far so good! 13 pounds and counting. Not bad once you get used to everything.
The only weight loss method that produces results! No drugs or gimmicks and totally doctor supervised. I lost 41 lbs, 11" off my waist, reduced my blood pressure to normal, and am no longer pre-diabetic. They really care about your long term success and provide ongoing nutrition and behavioral support for as long as you want to stick with it. I have tried every diet imaginable and this is the only method that has produced results. The only downside was having to buy new pants!
Not only did I find losing weight manageable and easy but I am so impressed with the friendliness and effectiveness of the staff. I also made lasting friendships with people on the same journey as my self to boot! Thanks Hernreid Center.
I did this program once before and it felt very rigid. They now have more options, counselors who actually talk to you about YOU and not what the scale should say, and last night Lea did a great job sharing the reasons why water and exercise are such an important part of good health. Now that they are in Folsom, it's very convenient.
Six weeks and 4 inches off my waist. Love everything about this program.
The classes are very informative and educational. I came back because I know the program works.
This place is fantastic. The program staff are all very kind and knowledgable. The weekly meetings give me and others in the program the opportunity to check in with each other and each week a different topic relating to health and weight management is discussed, and I swear it always seems like the topics are specific to things that I am either struggling with that week or could use more support/information on. This program has been life-changing. My husband and I did it together and have both been successful. The educators and medical staff truly want to help people learn to live healthy lives. My only constructive feedback is that the staff sometimes forgets what it's like to be new to the program and moving to a new stage, so you can get a little lost in the shuffle. But it's temporary and the long-term results are well worth it!
