RecommendedAfter searching the DFW area for a home for my dad, I chose Heritage at Twin Creeks. We were moving him from another state and I wanted to rest assured that the one time move would be a smooth transition as he is memory care. My sister has been with the Heritage since last. We are pleased with the their service. If there is a problem. they would be taken care of it nicely.
My mother was one of the original residents when the Heritage opened.She has moved from Assisted Living to Memory Care during her four years. Everyone has always been caring and supportive of her. The staff encourages families to share their concerns and welcomes input. During this crisis with COVID-19, they immediately shut down the facility to protect their residents. We moved my parents into the Heritage in February and couldn't be happier with our decision. The outpouring of support and love shown to my parents and our family made this emotional decision easier for all of us. As a healthcare professional, I am very pleased with how the community has dealt with Covid. I am concerned that my family and I have seen numerous employees NOT wearing a mask when caring for my mom during this corona virus pandemic. The mask is around their neck, not on their face. I’m some instances there are two care givers I her room. One is wearing a mask and the other is not. Even though you say care givers have been trained in PPE what are you doing about those care givers refusing to comply.
