A group of 5 of us went last year for a birthday. Initially I was off-put by the $300 per person price, yet I was assured it was a 'once in a lifetime' thing so we went. The first disappointing thing was it was raining so no tour of the garden, not their fault of course. Then being herded in like cattle (each group of 50 plus is served all at once) was weird. The food was amazing but we didn't enjoy the explanation of the dishes and wine pairings as we had to turn in our seats for 10 min or so to listen to the chef and staff... read more
