i so agree with the last posting! – the food and the service were great upon opening. i was there a couple of weeks ago, and the attitude was terrible. staff acted like they hated management, and for good reason, there was a big dumb looking manager type yelling at one of the red pant suit wearing waitresses. my group and i ordered about 4 things off the menu, most of them didnt have the same flavor or special presentation that they did when they opened. we asked the glass eyed waitress if something different was going on in... read more
Fun, Loud, Great food – So I live just a couple blocks from this place and used to come here when it was the Acapulco. After seeing the marquee stating "genuine New York pizza" I had to find out if it was true. A former NYCer myself, I had to do the taste test. It was a Saturday night and the place was hopping. A new place for you to try – Checked it out a few Saturdays ago. always looking for a good sports bar. Met several of the owners. Nice guys. Great food / great bar!! – Don't let the exterior fool you. Looks like the money spent on this place was where it counted. Bar and kitchen work perfectly. The chef has made the menu exciting. I came in from NYC and had the Spagetti and meatballs and was truly surprised. Being a 1st generation italian from New York I did not think the chefs of the west coast knew how to make meatballs. Great Food, Roulette Prices and COREY-OKIE (a kareoke band!) – Last month, we couldn't get in to Metal School. Well. I wouldn't pay that much money to see them. So we stopped at this place for drinks and food. My girlfriend and her friend had the pizza and I had some wings. is it a bar? is it a restaurant? – the bar was cool and semi mellow, however, if you arent a sports bar, why is every TV on sports? the food, over the top wonderful. huge variety, fair prices and great flavors and presentation. i have read some reviews on the chef, matthew gladstone, but didnt know the quality of bar food till my friends and i went to this place. only negative was a bit TO much of the new york thing and the manager ( i assume ) kept yelling at the waitresses
