Jesse is the worst bartender – Beside short pouring your drink, I've seen Jesse pour house cheapy liquor and then charge for top shelf and tells you it's top shelf. Total ripoff. Then he laughs and tells the people sitting around the bar that he just did that. He thinks he is so cool and powerful to make fun of people. I feel horrible for the people he burns. The only place to go in Milwaukie!!!! – This is the only place I can go knowing I will always get the best service with yummy food. This place does not just have average bar food. I have always enjoyed the home made soups! The pasta dishes are excellent. And if you just want a beer with hot wings, they have that too. Oh and happy hour OMG you have to have the sliders! The Grove on Milwaukie is HORRIBLE! – This place is HORRIBLE! The waitress and male bartender I was exposed to while in this place were totally rude! Garbage food. Nasty drinks. HORRIBLE STAFF! Plus, the 2 chicks that were there besides my party were total skanks, I think they were sisters. One of the girls had a huge nose, was totally drunk and sloppy and talking very loud about lewd things. Total NO CLASS! I think her name was Stephanie. Just a nasty place for dumpy people! I will never go there again!

Rude Bartender, Slow Waitresses. – wow. never will go back here again. Last time I went about over a year and a half ago I remember leaving because of horrible service. Until last night me and my friends decided to go for $1 well drinks. The bartender was a complete a**hole when I asked if I could get two whiskey and cokes. "WELL WHOS THE OTHER ONE FOR?" um me because your damn line is so slow and your busy helping people on the side who you know instead of customers who had been waiting forever. yeah. Poor Service – This was our 3rd visit in the last 6 months and it was just about the same everytime. Went in for breakfast and waited 40 mins before we ended up walking out. We were the 3rd group to complain and walk out without our meal. The owner was full of excuses why it was taking so long but it still did not make the service any better. If you are looking to eat anytime soon don't try here. This will be the last time we give this place another try.

Wow - dlittlemissy - so sorry that you were that upset. The day in question was Father's Day - we offered a 1/2 off coupon for all Dad's and we were slammed. We did not expect the response we got and our kitchen was overwhelmed. We try not to make "excuses" but explain what is going on. We admit - we got overwhelmed with the response to that coupon offer. Great food cheap drinks!!! – I love this place, I drive across town to go out here. The owners are great and the staff is awesome. I love to karaoke, and play pool, no better place in town. Oh and the TACO pizza!!! Perfection!!!!!

Worst First Experience – The Grove was not that far from my home and I remember it as a place that was always open. I had heard good things and went to try it with two of my friends. We go in and we sit down, we were told to sit anywhere. We sat for a while and our server came over with our menus and we ordered our drinks. Our first response would be Sorry you felt less than a regular or a guest. We try to train our staff to respect every customer and make them feel welcome every time they walk in our door. We usually get nice comments from new customers that they had a nice experience in our bar. This place has it all! – There is something for everyone at The Grove! This place is like the perfect neighborhood bar. Not only does it have all of the fun and games; pool, jukebox, clear view TVs, karaoke, EVEN comfy couches!... the staff is super friendly and the food exceeds expectations. On any given night, you can satisfy your itch here. We pop in to watch a ball game on the TV and end up staying for late night happy hour because the deals are outrageous! What a Great Place! – The Grove Restaurant & Bar is such a great place to go. The TV's are beautiful! If you can't see your game, just ask your server and you can watch your choice of sporting events! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes, when it's really busy, the servers can't get to you right away, but you can see that they are working and not just standing around. The Bartenders are awesome, great drink choices.
