We live in redmond oregon and come to Portland to go to the goodwill store. We have tried many places on mcloughin blvd and the grove is the best place we have found for the best food atmosphere and adult beverages. It is a 5 star place. Check it out.
As a local business my family and I like to support local businesses. Lucky cash register has always been there for us and never hesitated to come out to fix issue on hand. FREE OF CHARGE!!!! Good Food, Good Drinks – It isnt the nicest bar in town but the bar tenders and servers are nice and the food and drinks are good for a bar. One step up from your favorite dive bar and one step down from your favorite local restaurant.

"2 Chicks that were besides ..." Awesome. The Grove is a great neighborhood bar and I frequent it quite often. The owners go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your time there. I love the grove – Not only is this a frequent lunch stop for myself and my coworkers, its a pretty good place to go if you're going out with friends. The menu is large and the food is great (not just for bar food, but for any like-priced restaurant), the servers have always been really nice, and you don't start brokering deals to sell your first born when you get your bill.
The ONLY bar I will eat at – The grove has some of the best food in town just today while I was sitting here using their free Wi-Fi I heard a guy tell the bartender that they had the best steak in town. I would have to agree their food is hands down the best food around made from scratch and cooked to order. Not to mention their drinks that are always made like your Norm at cheers not matter who you are! The best part of ALL is they show every UFC PPV!!! Great place to go – We have been coming here since it opened five years ago and have never had a bad experience. Our favorite server is Jessie O and she is fantastic! Their soups are the best and they come up with some new creations in their soups like Swiss mushroom burger. The breakfasts are great and I love the Sunday brunch with football. All in all just a great place to gather, laugh and enjoy yourself.
Great place to go Anytime! – The Grove in Milwaukie is one of our favorite places to go. Great food and menu for all tastes. I personally like the light fare when I'm watching my calories, but the nachos and burgers with tots Rule! Tons of tv's, great drinks, UFC events, and great atmosphere. It Jesse! the worst bartender! – first of all, i am certainly not known at the grove for pouring weak drinks. i think 9 out of 10 people at my bar would agree. (dont tell brent) secondly, i have never in 5 years poured someone well liquor and lied and told them it was top shelf. last but not least, i try to be accommodating to every person who walks in to my bar. if i had some bad experience with you (i.e. cut you off when you felt it was undeserved, etc.) i apologize. oregon is a state with very strict liquor laws that put ... read more
