Grove Fillmore This is a nice little cafe to duck into for a cup of herbal tea, coffe, fresh juice, or a snack or healthy light lunch. The cafe is filled with mismatched wooden chairs, couches, unique rugs and stools and has a homey, lodgey feel. Usually filled with locals grabbing a bite, reading or working on their laptops.
Great Neighborhood Brunch I definitely frequent this place on a weekly basis. They have the biggest lattes ever, and the best oatmeals with fresh fruit in the city. They are a little pricey and they are always pretty crowded so be prepared to wait or be creative with seating. I haven't been there for anything other than breakfast so not sure about their lunch dishes. Really cute decor as well. PROS: Atmosphere, food CONS: limited seating, pricey
Grove Fillmore is good for lunch or dinner I love the grove. Some of my favorite things on the menu are the breakfast burrito, the Cuban sandwich, and the vegetarian chili. In terms of drinks, they have fresh orange juice, iced blended coffee drinks, and good beer on tap. It's a fun place to sit and eat. I don't recommend the bagel sandwiches because they're a bit overpriced.
