The atmosphere is pretty cool and nails the more hipster-like approach it’s going for. Everything else was an enormous letdown to say the least. It’s sad when not one of the 7 of us in our group was pleased with the food or service. The steaks were tough (ordered medium) and super salty, the beef burgers extremely bland, and the ravioli 3 pieces of over cooked and terrible pasta. And to cap it off was the lamb burger I ordered. I’m deeply disappointed, there were 7 of us for a friends birthday, 3 of us got beef burgers which were almost 20 dollars (all bland), 2 of us got steaks which which were 30 dollars both were tough and salty, one person got the ravioli which was 13 dollars for 3 undercooked ravioli that tasted terrible, and one of us had a lamb burger which first came out as a beef burger and then as an undercooked lamb burger, when we brought the problems with the lamb and the ravioli up to the server she just said “ohh okay do you want som... read more
The food at the greenhouse tavern is first rate. The drinks are good too. However, happy hour pricing is solely dependent upon the bartender standing in front of you at the time. Each bartender will give you a different answer when asked about happy hour. And while sitting at the end of the bar, a group of employees will gather near you and talk loudly like you’re not even there. And even though the food is great, there were plenty of things that were inedible on the plate such as onion skins and a lot of rosemary sprigs.
Best restaurant in NEO, if not the whole state! Mouth-wateringly good and a must every time I'm in the area.
