Extremely Disappointed with DR Horton’s Management and Warranty Support I’ve had a truly frustrating experience with DR Horton during my 1-year home warranty period. The quality of construction—especially the flooring—is extremely poor. Within the first year itself, both my upstairs and downstairs floors started making loud squeaky noises. I submitted a warranty request, and a carpenter came out to “fix” the issue, but the squeaking returned within days. Amber Mueller was phenomenal from showing us the specs of the model home to allowing us to see a house that became available and was within our price range. She was very prompt and informative with the whole process. She was always communicating with us via text or email for updates. She was amazing. We are so blessed to have worked with Amber. Thank you for making it such a memorable time in our life. We can’t wait to close and finally become home owners with our first new home!
