About this business

This is one nightclub unlike any other. If you like dancing in your living room, you will love the ambiance at the Grapevine. Furnished with comfy chairs, couches, and a jukebox, this hot spot is nothing if not homey. You can also shoot pool on one of the indoor or outdoor pool tables while enjoying one of the bar's special frozen Everclear bellinis. THE BEST BAR IN THE WORLD EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! – The bar has most definitely changed my whole perspective on bars. It's the coolest, funnest place in the whole of the States. I have traveled all around the States and have yet to find a bar quite like this. Everyone is so friendly, from the doorman to the staff and to the clientele. There's something here for everyone regardless of your orientation. Drinks are cheap and strong and the juke box is legendary. If you can't deal with the gay scene and trannies you should... read more

Watch it. – I would be careful about the "people watching", lest your natural interest and curiosity about people of all kinds is considered "staring" and you are singled out as a "newbie", and I suppose, some kind of rube. There is a definite cliqueishness about the place, but that's to be expected. But if they want to continue to recruit new regulars, and they may not, in fact, care, they should ease up on insulting people they don't know anything about. I have been friends with trannies, gay men and women since before one... read more

The Grapevine will change your life, seriously. – If you want to know why the bathroom lines are so long, ask the large Hispanic man standing by the pool table. The way I see it, minus the free and discounted drinks, the 12 hours of free jukebox music that I talked the jukebox repairman in to, and saving me from a really bad relationship by bringing out the worst in people- The Grapevine still owes me about $4,500 for rehab. homosexuals? Yes. Trannies? Sure. People who would ordinarily make you repeatedly press the panic but... read more

Laid-back clientele, rude staff – This is a gay-friendly bar, but as long as you don't have an attitude about being gay or straight, you'll have a nice evening. A wide variety of people call this bar their home, and if you like people-watching, this isn't too bad of a place. Be warned, however. If you order drinks at the bar and don't tip with every drink, you'll be refused service, loudly and publicly, and the bartender, a 30-ish gentleman with long hair and a beard, will shout obscenities at you. The clientele? friendly. T... read more

Small gay friendly dive – Nice small dive. However unless you are gay friendly I wouldn't suggest going. I was there all but 20 mins when i realized that I should have done more resreach before coming. I then finished my beer is eased back out.

Fun stuff~ – My brother goes her often and we tried it once before.....not the best night to try....rainy outside and COMPLETELY packed. So, gave it no thought for months....then decided to get my bro a gift card and went back. My friends and I had so much fun....such a friendly place, patrons and staff. I asked for cucumber water and was laughed at...loved it! Anyway, fun group of people and you never know who you might run into. Looking forward to hanging out on the patio when it gets a little warmer. Watch out for the fro... read more
