Food was decent, but they have a terrible syrup that ruins their hotcakes/pancakes/waffles. This place could be better, I hope it gets there.

Really lovely spot in a good location, the vibe inside and out are great, all of the staff are extremely friendly and caring. The food and drinks are almost always really good. My main issue is the lack of consistency, it seems like different baristas and cooks have their own ways of making things, which is fine, but I personally feel consistency is super important in food service. Edit: Changed to 5 stars as it seems they’re making a consistent effort to keep the food and drinks as consistent as possible.
Friendly local lunch spot. Food is always cooked well and very consistent, though can be a bit heavy. Would eat there more often if they had some things on the lighter side like soup / fruit salad / tuna on rye?
