So many flies, could barely eat my food.
We drive for an hour and a half to come eat lunch at The Gin - what a find! The food is so flavorful, servers are very friendly and attentive, and we love the atmosphere, especially the outdoor covered patio overlooking Nolan Creek. The portions are large enough for my husband and I to share and our go-to dishes are the spinach artichoke dip and sweet jalapeno grilled chicken. Burgers are also great! Yum!
Enjoyed every minute of dinner here. Server had a great personality and she was very attentive. Food was delicious. After dinner drink in the bar was great with live music. Five stars all day.
We arrived around 4:50. We entered from the tavern side and walked through a mostly empty bar area. The host is outside near the town square side. We waited 30+ minutes to be seated around 5:30 in the same empty area we walked past before. We had the cotton balls as apps and I had the chicken fried steak. The chicken in the cotton balls had no seasoning and was bland. Thankfully the bacon gave a little flavor.
