I went for lunch today for the first time, wow, I couldn't be more impressed! Not only the service was spectacular, but the food.... definitely a new favorite and already looking forward to another visit when I am in that part of town!!! <3
Visited for lunch a month ago. Food was good but service was horrible. There was a mistake with the order & the waitress practically argued with me & was adamant that I ordered a side I didn’t want. She was upset & the rest of the service was downhill from there. I’ve worked food service for years and understand mistakes happen but the lack of customer care will solidify my non-return to this establishment.

Exceptionally delicious mix of vegan, gluten-free and locally sourced ingredients, with incredible service and THE best fresh brewed iced tea around. I loved the Teriyaki bowl with brown rice, veggies and perfectly prepared tofu! The Gathering Café is a cozy, comfortable and scrumptious choice, in a convenient location.
Not only will you feel good after eating here cause the food is great but know that its made by people with big hearts. Thanks so much to The Gathering Cafe for their generous donation to a silent auction benefitting West Ashley High School's music and arts program.
I was visiting Charleston this weekend and had lunch at The Gathering Café. My friend Gail Martin Corbett gave me a few choices. She said this one was healthy. It sure was and delicious. I had the chicken salad sandwich on wheat. It had apples and grapes in the salad. Very good! The next time I am back in Charleston, I will go there!
