Really enjoyed eating at this cafe will be going back great place to have a girls night out
This restaurant is so good! I went today with my grandmother and we were so pleased with our meal! We started with the mussels, and they were incredible. She said that they were better than mussels she's had at Charleston's Rue de Jean! Such a neat little place and super friendly service, too.
The Gathering Café is on the top of my list of favorite places to eat in Charleston. In fact, I ate there last night (6/12) and had the eggplant parmesan (a fairly recent addition to the menu). It was the best I have ever eaten and the portions are soooooooooooo generous I am usually able to take half of it home and eat it again the next day - but don't tell the chef cause I don't want him rethinking portion sizes. Great food and great service!
Just heard about this place and had to try it immediately. Had my boyfriend pick it up on a night I wasn't feeling so good and it was just what I needed. A hearty home cooked meal that was reasonably priced for generous portions. All of the menu items sounded delicious and I can't wait to try it again and again. So glad to have this hidden gem in West Ashley, don't let the strip mall deter you, this place could compete with most higher end restaurants downtown, so check it out!
