Surprised about the complaints for long wait, this place is legendary, so to be expected. We got the spicy chicken sandwich and the grilled cheese with mushroom and tomato soup. Both delicious! Nothing too spicy about the sandwich, it was perfect.
Avoid the red wine! I live in Sonoma and have been enjoying The Fremont Diner's food since it opened, the quality is very high. My wife and I go often, at least a couple times a month, and we'll be back. The Nashville Chicken is one of our favorites and the bbq is awesome. Over time, I've noticed subtle changes to the menu that seem to be about profitability, one gets a little less and pays a little more. We had the worst experience here. I'll start off by saying the food was good and that's the only reason this place gets two stars. We waited for about 45 minutes for a table, which was ok, we expected to wait. What we didn't expect was to wait over an hour to get our food. Apparently something went wrong with the ticket system and tickets weren't printing, which I find hard to believe since tables around us came and went. Delicious food. You can taste the difference in their high quality ingredients. We tired the Ace of Spades (like an eggs benedict) and French toast. The atmosphere and employees were welcoming and gave you an at home feel. Definitely recommend.
Love to stop by here every time we go to Sonoma. Excellent food!!!! Love Everything we tried here. We will be back soon.
