About this business

The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

Food selection is awful and limited. I wouldn't mind the prices if it was decent. And, the pouring of a $5 bottle of water into a cup is ridiculous. Parking fees are in par with other venues, but lot attendants are not skilled at traffic control.

Parking attendants are clueless. Fresh paint doesn't mask the fact that it's the same crappy venue with the muddy sound system that we all remember from the '70s

I gave the Forum five stars for the inside venue only. The parking was terrible, dusty dirty road, parking lot was just a dirt field, plus $25 bucks for this abuse. The walk to the entrance was at least 1/2 mile & by the time we reached the security line we were choking on the dirt in our lungs. The security line was very long & seemed unorganized. I paid $392 a piece for great seats & they were just what we wanted, just above the floor seats straight on to the stage. Neil Diamond, his singers, band, technicians & staff put ... read more

Getting into parking was a disaster. I've never been to an event that took 45 minutes to get parked. The people working the parking lot were no help at all. They weren't guiding anyone to any spots. Several were just standing around playing on their phones.

Refube made it into a comfortable, very good concert venue. Much improved sound, seats are better, concessions better. I hate the drive but I love the venue. Better for concerts than Staples.

The concert itself was a 10, but the parking is not even a 1. I was with a disabled friend. Although her placard was hanging on the mirror, we were directed to the construction zone for the new stadium. My friend has difficulty walking, however, there were no accommodations for disabled persons from the remote parking area--not even a place to drop off my friend while I parked away. We were walking on dirt and gravel and uneven surfaces. The Madison Square Garden Corp. is getting a call from me tomorrow. I saw several cars w... read more
