About this business

The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

The ushers need to do a better job or people need to stop being annoying. I think both would benefit the forum in this case

Great/Huge music venue with a sense of intimacy, if you have floor or lower level seats. Bring patience with you as they'll always be a big crowd. Arriving/Leaving will always take a long time. Besides that, the staff/security is nice. Highly recommend!

I saw John Mayer from the floor in the back, which was awesome because the last sections of the floor are slightly raised up. Almost felt like I had a better view than most of the people on the floor, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it was a amazing and intimate concert experience. It seemed like all the seats had awesome views, even the "nosebleed" seats. One thing that sucked was waiting almost 2 hours to buy a damn t-shirt. They should've had more people working the merch booths for sure. There was only 3 people behin... read more

Nice venue. Unless you're at the very top of the highest point. Then your view is nearly obstructed. That can't be helped. When the forum was built it was back in the 60s. Arena designs have improved. Other than that friendly staff. Loved the outside terrace.
