About this business

The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

Hubby and I went to see Chicago/Doobie Brothers. We had meet and greet tickets for Chicago. The girl in charge of taking our group to meet Chicago didn't know how to get us there. After finally asking 4 other people, we finally made it. We stood in line for more than 40 minutes waiting to meet Chicago, and we spent 15 seconds for only a picture. Not worth the 350.00 we paid for the tickets. Great show though!

EXPENSIVE! $25 on-site parking. "Happy Hour" food on terrace is overpriced and mediocre. $14.00 for a Margarita in a plastic cup. The venue itself is good for concerts, though.

Parking sucked. Took 45 minutes to get into the parking lot. Missed the beginning of the Doobie Bros. Sound quality was good and the lighting and the screen behind the band was good

Thank you for all the extra security last night at the Chris Brown concert. I had a blast and I felt so protected.
