The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

The venue is great and close to home can't complain ...the only down fall is parking...they need a better system to get everyone out smoothly but overall, great place for concerts welcome back Forum.
I made the mistake of buy upper level seat cause the groups playing were not my favorite but my mom wanted to see Ramon Ayala so I bought those tickets cause the floor level was all the way in the back and did not felt like it was worth paying a lot to see them from far away, but what made it a horrible experience was that the seats are too close to the next row and I am tall so I had to seat really uncomfortably in order to not have my knees on the person sitting on the next row. Also I had an annoying female yelling but th... read more
Now I know why people get the floor seats better sound and more bars without lines and more restrooms only thing they need is rails to come down the stairs
I have been here for 10 plus concerts. It's my favorite place for a concert but I do have one complaint. They need to permanently put big screens on both sides of the stage showing the singers and band. Some of the shows have them some don't. I guess it depends on the band. I always sit in the 101 wheelchair section and can't see the singers faces and that sucks.
Had a wonderful experience! We went early to Happy Hour in the terrace. Made parking a breeze but definitely not happy hour process on the drinks - my (& several others) only complaint. All employees and security staff were very friendly and courteous, the venue itself has great accoustics and i really like the size!
YES ! It's in the Ghetto business district but, man does it seem like you're in NoHo or San Fran once you get inside. Bathrooms are clean and beautiful. The wallpaper wrap murals of all the past entertainers are beautiful. Parking is easy. Ushers are all polite & helpful. I felt safe and comfortable. Definitely would go back for another venue.
Great show, but it's the venue that really rocks. Ever since they re-did the Forum and made it a concert only facility, it is the top venue to see a show. The sound system not only thumps you with bass, but the mids and highs are clear and sharp. Great place to see a concert.
