About this business

The Forum, a.k.a. Great Western Forum is one of the area's entertainment hotspots. Former home of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings, the Forum now frequently hosts boxing matches, rock concerts with performers such as Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Stevie Wonder, and other miscellaneous events. The glitzy, backlit Roman architecture seems a little out of place in Los Angeles, but it has its charms. As the Forum seats as many as 18,000 people, parking can be a little tough, so be prepared.

Have attended three concerts since it reopened. Saw U2 twice in 2015 and just saw Chicago and the Doobie Brothers on June 10,2017. Arrived early as we had the VIP package so parking was easy. It's $25.00 for parking and $40.00 for perferred parking right by the Forum club. We had floor seats for Chicago and the aisle were wide and the chairs were comfortable. The sound system was great and restroom and bars are easily accessible. Staff super friendly and professional. At one of the U2 concert we sat in the seats and I agree ... read more

Saw the Doobie Brothers and Chicago. The sound for he Doobie Brothers was awful, and Chicago just a bit better. The bass from the kick drum was low and loud and loose, creating a layer of mud throughout the performances, especially the DB portion. It drowned out the other instruments and ruined some great guitar and bass licks.

Sound was very good, but seats suck! NO legroom at all.

Love The Forum. Not to big so no matter where you sit, you have great seats. We've been there a number of times and will continue to go...

Had seats to the right of the stage, good view for the Doobies, but for Chicago they had a net type of curtain bunched up and completely blocking the view of some of the band! NEVER got to see the drummer! A big screen to show them would have been GREAT like at the Hollywood Bowl!
