As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

The best birthday meal ever! Loved everything about your restaurant, i.e., the wooden flute music, Mountain Man and of course your food? service and view!
We had the worst dinner there tonight! We have been there so many times and it was always good, but tonight was awful! The buffalo ribs were like eating jerky and the beans both red and green were completely undercooked. When you spend $400.00 you would think it would amazing! Never again!
What a beautiful place to spend with my family on that special occasion.
