I was supposed to have a appointment for my right foot but the doctor wasn't available on November 7th 9:30am so I feel disgusted and disregarded because I got the call the day before and I am mentally disabled so if there's a problem with my appointment they need to call me 1 week in advance because it throws transportation off which I am not getting reimbursed for and had to go elsewhere because short notice which isn't good because of a person's surgery is more important than me that's how I felt which is never good I was... read more
Posting this late but better than never. Completely unhelpful staff. Saying this as the medical proxy for a 94 year old. I tried unsuccessfully to get her in to see the doctor. Impossibly early hours for new patients. They had two locations, but only one doctor who would do what she needed. The final straw was showing up early on a Friday in December with frigid temperatures. Went through the hassle of valet parking for Friendship Ave building. Getting a wheelchair. Not happy with the experience…. Was treated terribly
Dr. Matt Hentges successfully corrected what two prior surgeries by other practitioners failed to do. He was professional in every sense - laid out the options and the pros and cons of each, along with his recommendation. I was also very pleased with his office gal Elaine who scheduled and coordinated my surgery . A very satisfactory experience at West Penn Hospital.
