When checking what to go see and do during my stay in Halifax, I came across the website of The Floatation Centre. Right there and then this came across as a very friendly and welcoming place – which it turned out to be. Right away it’s shoes off – which already gives off a relaxed vibe. I love the Floatation Centre! I’ve tried floats, massage, and the infrared sauna and they were all great experiences. The vibes are immaculate and I love relaxing with a cup of tea and doing some crafts or drawing after a float. If you’re lucky you’ll see Pearl!
The floatation centre is such a meditative and serene space and experience, I highly recommend their infared sauna treatments and massage! Jenelle and her staff are all so welcoming and sweet, and the location is so close to many lovely halifax shops :) I definitely recommend the floatation centre for some therapeutic physical recovery in downtown halifax!

Excellent experience in the infrared sauna in a clean cozy room. The atmosphere was welcoming offering a tea after the sauna and a cozy corner to hang and relax. Very welcome and respectful place. I’ll be back soon.
