High prices for happy hour drinks and when we got our bills we were charged for the full price. The pork in the pork nachos were half fat. The smoked salmon was barely smoked and the bread that came with it stale. Hamburger was ok but nothing to brag about. A few neighbors together for a curiosity visit but never to return again!!!

Great Sunday brunch! Food was excellent and so was the atmosphere! Just what Ankeny needed‼️
Went Thursday night, dissapointed. Water was warm, pop was warm and flat. Appetizer was forgotten, had a cold burger, minus the bacon I ordered. My girlfriend ordered a pulled pork sandwich that was to dry to eat. Staff looked a little overwhelmed. Hopefully they can pull things together with some time, would love to like this place! The atmosphere is great, place looks nice. That's about all its got right now.

We've had several items that we were short on in preparing for the awesome reception we have had from Ankeny, Including our water bottles, which is why you received warm water, and our chef has updated the pulled pork recipe. My wife had the Reuben sandwich and it was all fat. I had a hamburger and it was OK I ordered onion rings instead of fries and they charge me for a whole order of onion rings. For sandwiches it was $40 a little expensive I think.

As far as the onion rings, there was some confusion, as we do not offer them as a side. So, our server must have rung in the full order and not brought that to our attention. Was invited to enjoy the food and service today for their mock service. Had the bone in ribeye which was delicious. Served with garlic butter it was very tender and flavorful. Wonderful atmosphere and decor. Presentation was perfect! Definitely recommend
