I have lived at this apartment coming up on 3 years. I genuinely have had the best experience here. The management alone could be the sole reason to move here as they are so kind, so thorough and so helpful. The amenities are extremely nice and the apartment itself is great. I enjoy living here, but I’ve noticed a recurring issue in the evenings when the sun goes down—there are a lot of roaches outside around the buildings. They’re often crawling along the sides of the buildings, and last night I saw one fly onto a car parked on the side of the 2300 building. I don’t notice this problem when I walk around the neighboring apartment complex or the nearby stores, so I think it may be specific to Maderas buildings. I moved into an A1 last month and love the apartment itself and amenities, which is why I’m giving an extra star. Also, despite being understaffed and overworked, staff are all great. However, everything good about this apartment is nullified by the unbearable, incessant noise. Before anyone tries to say this “noise is a part of living downtown,” I’ve lived in 5 different cities, all with apartments downtown. I am highly impressed with every aspect of this community, particularly the management and staff. They exhibit kindness, responsiveness, knowledge, helpfulness, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. The grounds are flawlessly maintained, and maintenance is quick to respond. Additionally, the location is conveniently situated near shopping and all kind of restaurant options.
