I’ve been living at Madera Leftbank for almost a year, and have pretty much no complaints. It has been peaceful and quiet, clean(for the most part), convenient and just an overall great apartment. I highly recommend living in the 600 Harrold Building (the one with the parking garage) because the garage makes a difference. Do not move here. I've had several appliances break in my first few months living here and the front desk has been either dismissive or straight up unresponsive. I've been without a washing machine for almost one full month and I've called asking for updates with no response. All of the doors to my building are unlocked and the gate to the parking lot hasn't worked since I moved in. Anytime the gate is closed, it doesn't activate, meaning we have to park outside the gate near the train tracks. Do yourselves a favor and look ... read more
TLDR: unless you want appliances that break down every other month, weeks-long waiting times for repairs unless you advocate strongly for yourself, and to risk your packages being stolen because deliveries can’t be made inside the building, don’t move here. Do not move here. I’ve been living here for not even three months and have had my dishwasher break twice and my washing machine break once. Unless you bug them enough to come fix it, expect to wait at least 2 weeks for them to actually come fix it after submitting a servi... read more
The 3rd building has a terrible roach infestation. We had a huge problem, and our friends down the hall had a huge problem (roaches coming out of the power outlets). We tried being as clean as possible, and when we asked management to help they just told us to be cleaner... The first year-lease we signed was fine, but then new management came in and must have went cheap with pesticide and general repairs. This place used to be nice, but now it's rundown.
I would like to commend the staff ( especially the maintenance crew). Any and all issues (limited as they have been) have been resolve efficiently and timely! Thank you all! Shout out to Andrew!!
