Our server was dealing with a large party of teenagers.....poor thing. People really ought to teach their kids how to dine out, including tipping. It's a life skill! She was having a rough day so we tipped her extra well. Hope it cheered her up. All in all very happy with this place, the view, the service, the food.
Great tasting food, lots of choices on the menu, amazing attentive service ("Thank you" to Hugo and his team) and fantastic views that included ocean wildlife. Will return!
Fabulous view, service and food! The freshest salmon, fine wine selection and a beautiful setting with a refined rustic elegance. It's a must if you visit Cannery Row. I will take all my visitors here from now on. Five stars and then some!
Amazing menu. We just ate appetizers and were completely satisfied. We went back the next day to try more of the appetizers. (Try the bacon wrapped scallops. Heavenly!) Incredible mixologist at the bar. Ask for Marcos. He rocks. Late shift. The libations were like none I've ever seen/tried before. ;-)
The Fish Hopper in Monterrey, in Cannery Row, was wonderful! Beautiful and delicious food, great service & atmosphere.
The food is great. I had the Fish & Chips cod and it's fresh. I like the food and ambiance, nice view of the Ocean. Our server Manny is great! He greeted my husband a Happy Father's Day! He keeps coming to our table too make sure we're okay. Had a great time in this restaurant. For first time coming here. We will definitely come back again.
Food portions and flavor is not as good as it use to. My family spent out Father's Day lunch here on Sunday and it will be our last. They used to serve sliced bread in baskets and now give you a bun. Seafood Pasta Isabela used to have prawns, huge scallops and clam meat, now it only comes with tiny shrimp, minced scallops and clams. Ordered a 20oz steak and baked potato and that is how it was served, just baked potato and steak! No greens or anything. Our server Lynda W. was so wonderful and helped us feel so welcome with her timely drinks refills, excellent menu recommendations and friendly personality. We will be back for certain!!!!
