We were in town for a Boys Lacrosse tournament. We made reservations for a party of 25 on July 29, 2017. We were seated immediately upon arriving. We were greeted by a very polite waiter. The food was awesome. We all got our food at the same time. I had the Crab cakes which I have to say were the best I have ever had. Everyone in our party was very happy with the food and service. Our waiter did an excellent job! Highly recommend The First Post!
Impeccable service! Nice atmosphere. Got lamb meatballs for a starter very good. I asked about the the upstairs for event rooms. Not accessible to people in wheelchairs.
This place is absolutely fantastic. We had the seared scallops - 10/10, the cream of crab soup - 10/10, the crab cakes - 10/10, and the crab and corn pasta - 8/10. Drinks were amazing. Server was amazing. It was a wonderful experience and whenever I'm back in York, I'll be returning.
First timers, dined here last evening for my birthday. We were not disappointed! Service and food were amazing. I can't remember our servers name but he was very efficient and polite. We will be back!

Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our server was great. I have read some reviews that said their service was slow, I thought our service was spot on. We did not feel rushed and there was an appropriate amount of time in between appetizers, meals and desserts. A very enjoyable evening out with friends to enjoy a meal and spend time together.
