This is by far my favorite restaurant! I traveled from Westminster and this was my second visit!! This place is ran like an oiled machine!! From start to finish, I had an amazing experience!! The food was amazing!! Really can't find a better place to go!! Well worth the ride!
Went to the First Post for a private Celebration of Life party tonight. The party was on the second floor. When the hostess was asked if there was an elevator she said matter of factly "sorry, we don't have to have one." I missed the festivities since my wheelchair can't climb stairs.
The wife and I went to The First Post 3691 E. Market St., York, PA 17402 for a late lunch on Tuesday September 26, 2017. This was our first time at ‘The First Post’ since it opened but had been regulars at the old restaurant ‘The Roadhouse’ before it went out of business several years ago. We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary dinner at this awesome restaurant last night. Our waiter, David was superb! We had crab cakes and shrimp scampi/linguini. We have been there a few times and recommend this restaurant.
Great service and a fantastic lunch in a great old stylish restaurant.
Wonderful experience..beautiful building and food n service was excellent!
