RecommendedFood was great and our waitress Lexi was top notch.
Had dinner last night with a large group. We started at the bar, the drinks are amazing, very well done. On to the meeting and with over 20 full dinners being served, the kitchen and the staff did a great job. Kudos!
The food is amazing. We were 3 persons passing through York, stumbling over this restaurant /pub. And are we glad we stopped. All had different dishes, and all amazed by the taste, quality and respect the chef has for the produce. Highly recommended by us all.

Had dinner tonight for our 9th anniversary at the First Post around 8:15. Was told about a half hour wait but we were seated in 10 minutes! The Rose All Day drink (I think it was called) was amazing, the calamari was incredible (the honey lemon aioli sauce ). Our server was very friendly and helpful and so on top of things (Lexi or Katie I think?). The salmon was to die for and my husband had the scallops which were perfect. The creme brûlée is so good! All in all an amazing dinner! Absolutely no complaints. 👍
