They advertise loans for the local community using catchy verbiage to make you think that your loan, a mortgage for instance, will remain with them and in your community. They sold my mortgage 2 weeks after approving it to a major bank, who then sold it to a mortgage company 5 states away. Local? Bah! I closed all my accounts.
